This was a poem that I turned into a song. :) I wrote it during a time when the Lord was calling me to a major life change and I was a afraid.
Open before me is a path my eyes cannot see.
Standing behind me is all that used to be me.
Calling me thru the mist is the Voice my soul needs.
Afraid and unsure, and yet I will go where He leads.
Here in the edge, tomorrow a gray dawn.
My hands holding nothing, yet I still go on.
I need to be sure, and yet I need to believe.
I know that thereís more than my simple mind can conceive.
How can I stay, how can I go?
You call me away from all that I know.
You have redeemed me and with joy my heart will obey
Iím empty before You, I will always remember today.
A day set apart, when gladly I answered the Call.
A day when Your Will became mine, when I gave You my all.
