TRUST JESUS TODAY
I must choose my weapons wisely
this is the way it's suppose to be
And it's written so plain in God's word
for the spiritual warrior to see
We must arm ourselves wisely
so the enemy can't slip in
And cause us to fight the carnal way
which never has an end
He will try to attack the place of comfort
a place of peace that God gave us
always trying to upset the joy we have
to make us lean on flesh to trust
Our God has gone before us
to make the crooked path straight
So we need not worry about the situation
and he has never been late
No arrows that come can harm us
when we keep his word intact
It's our defense, when troubles arise
and we do know this as a fact
We wrestle not against flesh and blood
we can't fight in what we see
For our soul is in a spiriual battle
so let God handle it for you and me
He told us to bring our problems to him
those battles that's too hard for us
And we have full security in God's word
when we lean on it and trust
