Here comes the night with the evening breeze,
and the starry hosts making a symphony.
They play the songs of Lovers as they bid us come,
and dance for them until the evenings done.
Oh darling wife of mine, let's go and dance,
and run, and sing, while we have this chance.
While the fireflies twirl around our heads,
and the crickets play love songs unsaid.
The night is aflame with unseen fire,
and our hearts cry out from passion’s desires.
My wife, my love, I long for you.
My soul is consumed singing songs for you.
This night, this dance, this perfect melody,
moving us together in love, in harmony.
But here comes the dawn, the morning sun,
we've danced all night, now the song is done.
The stars close their eyes, and the trees stop to rest.
The breeze fades away with one last breath upon my chest.
Was this all just a dream?
Could I have visions so deep?
No, this happens quite often,
as I watch you sleep.
I love you my love.
