1) Post your first piece.

2) You must then critique the work of another member to post another piece yourself.

3) For each critique you give, you earn 1 credit that can be used to post another one of your writings.

Where are you God?
It seems I ask more and more
Have you forsaken me?
Or, have I closed the door

It seems Iím spiraling out of control
It seems you are out of reach
With everything thatís happened
Have I forgotten the word you teach?

I always hear you calling
But I hear the other more
Responding to the dark side
Though I know what is in store

Oh God why do I insist?
On going down that road
That leads to death and destruction
I feel Iím going to explode

Some days I canít remember
What I did the day before
I have to sit and think
Thatís happening more and more

A lot of times Iím sad
Tears well up in my eye
I think the bottle helps me
But sometimes I want to die

I think of death
God, canít you take me home
Away from all this heartache
Where Iím so all alone

It is the same prayer
I prayed many years ago
As a child abused and neglected
And left to feel so low

I donít see a silver lining
I donít see a beautiful end
Into darkness and despair
I shall descendÖÖÖ.
