It's easy to critique the works of others and get your work critiqued. Just follow the steps below:
1) Post your first piece.
2) You must then critique the work of another member to post another piece yourself.
3) For each critique you give, you earn 1 credit that can be used to post another one of your writings.
4) You can build up credits to be used at another time by giving critiques to others.

Sometimes a phrase runs through my head a while and when I start to write it down, the rest just flows. This was one of those times.
Jesus Loves Me
I looked into my heart and found an empty nest
Like someone took its life away and put it in a chest
It was shoved into a corner with just a tiny glow
It started softly humming as I turned to go
I thought I recognized the tune something from
It was almost like a nursery rhyme, made me feel
I turned to walk away again but I just couldn't
That's the song, I remember, It's Bringing in the
No, it's something even farther back when I was
I remember mama singing it when I was very ill.
Now I remember oh how could I forget, if Jesus
Loved me then I bet he loves me yet
The chest began to open and heavenly light poured
As it began to glow, I couldn't help but shout
That little tune from years gone by has never lost
Can help you scale the walls of every castle
Eleven little words can make or break a man
Just knowing when to sing them will lead you to the
Just remember "Jesus Loves Me" this I finally know
I know it once again because the bible tells me so.
