This poem is to encourage anyone experiencing life challenges, and feels like God is so far away, but He promised to never leave us.
At times God seems so far away,
And I know He is listening to my prayers
But He is not telling me anything.
I cry, but He doesnít rush to my rescue.
I know He sees the pain I feel, and
I know He sees my needs.

I wonder why the silence,
Oh yes, if I want to hear His comforting voice,
Then Iíd better be quiet.
He only whispers softly,
And all He wants to tells me is, I love you
Everything will be ok.

This He says,
Come my child, nothing is too much for me,
Come to Father God, come be still.
Bring to me your heavy burdens,
Lay them at my feet.
Then He holds me close to His side.

He smiles at me and says again,
My precious one, donít fear,
Let me show the way.
Trust me and my word,
Come my dear, just obey,
All is well.
