It's easy to critique the works of others and get your work critiqued. Just follow the steps below:

1) Post your first piece.

2) You must then critique the work of another member to post another piece yourself.

When we're lost and empty. Who is always there to fill us up. When we are absorbed in our sin nature and feel hopeless. Who is there with am arm full of forgiveness. Do you need someone, He is there
Thereís emptiness in my being
Hollowness in my soul.
All the things I tried and failed
Are taking a mighty toll.

I always start with a good plan
One that guarantees great success.
But when the final curtains falls
It lies there in a mess.

Disappointment fills me up
With tears about to fall.
No one to share this space with me,
Do I exist at all?

It is my sinful nature
That has brought me to this place.
It weaves its spell around me
Brings me down in great disgrace.

I think that all that is gone
Is not because my Fatherís mean.
But because I canít fathom out
What is real and whatís a dream.

With much fear I want to run
Yet I must hide inside.
I have dealt a crushing blow
To my weakened pride.

So this is my punishment
Just silence all around.
All I see is horizon
As I sit here on the ground.

I guess if you are living
In mean spirit and with hate.
When you get to heaven
There is a lock upon the gate.

So is this my fortune
To live here all alone?
In this darkness will I find the key
To finally take me home?

Some people think Iím crazy
ĎCause Iím listening for this voice.
It will guide me through my life
Iíll listen; thatís my choice.

A quietness filled the room
Of not a sound was I aware.
A warmth came all around me
I felt Jesus there!

He said, ďYouíre not alone
Iíve always waited here.
With Me comes the heavenly hosts
So see how many care?Ē

Now I sit here in my quiet room
Peace seeps into my soul.
Alone I lived just half a life
With God Iíll live one whole.

Would you ask Him into your lifeÖ?
