This was written of my boss and the threat of doing this at work with extreame reprimand was great
Early this morning, the birds sang a song
Joy fills their hearts, yet I sense something wrong
Blessed is the melody, simple and pure
Waves of peace overtake me, as a cure
A secret friend I discovered in trouble
Aching to get out from under the ruble
Claims were sincere, the desire is clear
Wants to reconcile with his wife dear
As I sat in awe, I heard his story
I shared carefully, just for Godí glory
Iím an earthen vessel, used by God
Where ever Iím planted, I can grow like sod
I prayed and I cried, my heart strings to pop
I feared for his life, he was on top
Boldly I traveled the length of the hall
I placed a tract, safely, not to get mauled
Under his door, I slid it with care
Fearful was I, so I said a prayer
