HELP TOUR

It's easy to critique the works of others and get your work critiqued. Just follow the steps below:

1) Post your first piece.

2) You must then critique the work of another member to post another piece yourself.

3) For each critique you give, you earn 1 credit that can be used to post another one of your writings.

4) You can build up credits to be used at another time by giving critiques to others.

TITLE: Finding my way

I tried to show that even if we have a life of past pain, that doesn't make our future doomed. He is there when we need Him.
I sit in this vacuum space
Beating a dead dream.
All of this gives me a jolt
Causing my mind to scream.

I run through life not looking
Running here and there.
Lost in all this emptiness
Stand here unaware.

If I repeat this action
Off the Earth Iíll fall.
Never to be remembered
A name You canít recall.

I canít say how great I was
Or what I might have been.
I know I have done my best
I say that with a grin.

You have helped me find my way
Woke me up so I could see.
You lent a hand so I could stand
And done it tenderly.

Thank you for all You do
You helped me clear the air.
When I was standing at the brink
You showed me that You cared.

When I think about You
My heart is filled with love.
You gave me good direction
And that gentle shove.

Now my head is aching
From all the thoughts Iíve had.
If I do not write them down
Theyíll slowly drive me mad.

If I were given any life
I could have for eternity.
I wouldnít have to look too far
Iíd finally pick just me.
