When my wife and i met we were at Technical training in the Air Force. I wrote her at least three to four poems a day. This was one of those poems...we married about a month and a half later and its been going...34 years!
Yesterday I thought of you
A thought that I won’t forget
A thought that I will cherish
For it was of your loveliness
I visualize those pretty eyes
As brown as they can be
For they are always on my mind
As they do belong to me
I also think about your lips
And there is something about your kiss
For such a kiss would be surely missed
If not for those lovely lips
But as many say dreams are made for fools
But in my life its not really true
Because visions of you occupy my mind
Filling it with thoughts of loving you.
