TRUST JESUS TODAY
To those who love Christ, there are so many ways to write on subjects that can bring that "AGAPE" love to the forefront in the world. I wanted to share with you this poem that "americandiversityreport.com had in their magazine in april 2010. I still own the poem they said i should share it with everyone. Its a conversation from me to a tree that was in my life for a long time! I hope it challenges each of you to go further with your wonderful poetry.
I often wonder if you feel,
the warmth of my love inside.
If you feel that you are a true joy,
and a daily necessity to my life.
For I long for to make you feel special
and also to know that I need you so
I want you to feel that special love
that only the best of friends do know
For within I share a sweet passion
that only you did place inside
Never asking for anything in return
only wanting me to stay by your side
For you have never turned away
never from me a single day
always embracing me with your friendship
as I did lounge lovingly in your shade
And I do thank God above each day
for the times we are allowed to meet
As your friendship is a valued treasure
that in my heart i will always keep.
