This was written about how I felt one Sunday I had just a blessed day and didn't want it to end. Written in a southern gospel style.
Forever Sunday
I wish every day was Sunday
and all I had to do was pray
praise the Lord, sing all the hymns
of His amazing grace
It lifts the spirit inside me
being with believers just like me
where all our talk is of our Lord
and how His grace has set us free
(Chorus)
Yes if every day was Sunday
be gathered around His throne
our spirits’ always lifted up
just knowing we’re at home
Praising His name, beholding His face
Oh what a day it’s going to be
when heaven and earth are passed away
forever Sunday we will see
Tomorrow starts another week
this Sunday will soon be gone
I’ll keep you all in my prayers
until we’re gathered home
Oh how I’m going to miss you
but we will see each other again
right here in our little church
or around His throne with Him
(Repeat Chorus)
