Musings on a "down time" when Satan wants to discourage us.
Our God is in the Heavenlies;
Therefore, all is well with the world.
Sometimes we lose sight of His presence,
When the darts of Satan are hurled.
Though the light may seem obstructed,
And the Light of the “Son” grows dim;
It’s then, that He is more precious,
As we grow much closer to Him.
We know that behind the dark clouds,
The “Son,” who is our dearest friend,
Shines just as brightly as ever,
And His comfort, He soon will send.
And, oh the joy of that moment!
His presence sweeps over our soul!
He has renewed our faith and cleansed;
And we know we have been made whole!
