TITLE: As If I Never Sinned

All the times I missed the mark
Building up over the years
Turning from the path
I know that I should take
Not wanting to give up my sin
Knowing well my transgressions lead to death
Still I sin
Im in love with this life
Things of this world consume my thoughts
Instead of loving God
I fall into the abyss
A place of nothing but pain
The pit so deep and dark
I fall as low as a man can get
Yet the pit is still deeper
In my sin He smiles on me
But I prefer the darkness
He holds out His scarred hands
Showing me the blood
How much He suffered for me
Died and rose from the grave
He lives today
Hes still forgiving
Still loving
Gave me the gift of salvation
How can I not love Him
He gave up His only Son
That I might live
Forever in His presence

Forgave
All the times I missed the mark
Cast my sin away
Into the sea of forgetfulness
Now I can stand before God
As if I never sinned
