Trapped between this world and the next,
Yet a prisoner of the pastÖ
Struggling to stay above the ebb,
Iím mired in memories, sinking fast.
How does one leave it all behind,
And yet spare others of this pain?
So here I tread, forever caught,
Still holding to this bygone chain.
