This was inspired by Matthew 11v28: "Come to me, all you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest."---Any feedback/comments would be greatly appreciated :)
Lay down your sorrows
Let go of the pain
At the foot of the cross
Where Jesus was slain
At the foot of the cross
Look up into His eyes
For deep within them lies
A love that never dies
Lay down your anger
Let go of the blame
At the foot of the cross
He's calling out your name
At the foot of the cross
Hear His spirit crying "come"
He loves you as his son
You are his beloved one
Lay down your worries
Let go of the stress
At the foot of the cross
Jesus gives rest
At the foot of the cross
Recieve His peace
That all your inner storms may cease
He died that you might be released
At the foot of the cross
Is victory
At the feet of Jesus
