HELP TOUR

It's easy to critique the works of others and get your work critiqued. Just follow the steps below:

1) Post your first piece.

2) You must then critique the work of another member to post another piece yourself.

3) For each critique you give, you earn 1 credit that can be used to post another one of your writings.

4) You can build up credits to be used at another time by giving critiques to others.

When my daddy died, we grieved and tried to understand mom's grief. When I lost my husband ten years later, my mom was the one who could comfort me in her knowing.
Does this communicate that?
One ring, One call. My heart stops
Driving
Forever
Too late
He is gone
Gone
Our sweet daddy
Beloved grandpa
Her husband

She grieves
Move on we say , but she says no
She cannot go

Years
Pass as grandkids grow and fill her life
Routine becomes her friend
Still
She is alone

And then the day
Unspeakable
Cancer
My friend, My love, My life
And he is gone

I Cry and scream and say it cannot be
Move on they say
And she says No

Time will pass
Kids will grow
Routine will become your friend
But the hole will always be

I know, I say
Today
My mother is my friend
