A short poem that consists of short lines that i wrote for my friend. In a way to show that life can be lived with out such confusion inside such long lines; that we can be simple and humble much like the short lines.

Thanks everyone. Tell me if you like it or not.
An Angel Near

A quiet room
Stands full
With this
speechless space.
A lonely face
Feels
A
Protector
Near.
Constantly
Whispering
In her
Ear
“Have no fear,
For the LORD is here.”
Hold on to him tight
And don’t let go.
“Sometimes
life
will be very fast.
And you’ll
Often
Wonder
If you’ll even last.
Like your
Spinning
So
fast
And
you’ve already
Let go.
That it’s
Too
late,
And
You’ve
Touched
Those
Hands of fate.
And that you
Might fall behind
When everyone
Else
Seams
So
Far
Ahead.
“Sometimes life
Will go so slow.
So slow
That
You don’t know
If
Time
Ever
Stopped.
“A full room
Sometimes
Will
Feel
Empty and
hollow.
Pain will
Come fast
And can
feel
too
Big
For
You
To
Swallow,
Burdens
Can be heavy.
And
Your heart
Becomes
Nothing more
Than just a
vacant levy.
This angel
Stands
Protecting
This speechless
Face.
And
Murmurs
“You’re apart
Of this puzzle,
And God’s
Special
Grace.
“Sometimes
You’ll
Be
Afraid
To
Smile
To
A
Passing
By
Stranger.
But,
Remember
You
Could miss
The smile of
Jesus
Laughing
In his manger.
Sometimes
You’ll
Be to
Afraid
To
Look
At
Your
Best friend
Because
You’re worried
How your wounds
Will
Heal and
Who can mend.
That you’ll
Turn
Out
Crippled
With decrepit
Joints
That refuse
To bend.
“Have no fear,”
The angel
Says again.
“Don’t run away,
Even
When
Your
Scared.
Protection
Is here
And
Love
Is
Always
There.”
