TITLE: Sticks and stones will break my bones but words will do greater harm

The bible tells us not to tolerate Jezebel and yet we all fall victim to allowing this spirit to cause chaos around us.We need to learn to discern and not to allow Jezebel to cause fear and destruction in our lives.
Being the victim of abusive wicked demoralising accusations never hurt when coming from those I didn't know. However coming out of the mouth of a loved one they become hurling bloody swords of destruction, penetrating deep into my soul and heart.

The way we choose to speak to people is of utmost importance. Even your enemy should only be embraced in love and with compassion.

Wounds inflicted by words can cause so much pain. I wrestle not with flesh and blood but with words that have been vomitted out over me with the intention to do great harm to me.

Jezebel has no mercy or morals or even a small bit of decency. She is a destroyer and her weapon is her mouth. Manipulation is her game. When she wants something she will do anything to have her way at any cost. Self indulgent, wicked and most deceitful is her heart.

It is so easy to fall into the trap of exercising control over our friends and family just so we can have our own way.

Politicians, Church Leaders, parents and many who have influence in society did not have to get degrees to manipulate those around them for their own gain. Fear is the weapon of choice used.

Subtle threats are spewed over mindless sheep who are brain washed to believe what their leaders say. Most religions uncluding Christianity are guilty.

" You use your weapon well Jezebel, but I will not tolerate you in my life. You hate the prophets of truth and you detest those who question you? You accuse those who seek the Truth continually as rebellious, unsubmissive and trying to bring division. You feed on fear and pride and the blood of the righteous."

I became her victim not because I was not aware of Jezebel but because she used those precious and close to my heart as a target for her venom and made me feel powerless to act as I did not want to hurt my loved ones. I never wanted to confront this controlling evil spirit which mascerades as a sweet, gentle, vulnerable, loving presence. For the sake of peace was my reason for allowing myself to be controlled and losing my identity. I became a victim instead of a conqueror.

Relinquish control to God and He will teach you how to serve. A leader is nothing more than a servant that leads by example and lays down his life for his flock. If we allow God to take the reigns and seek His face and turn from our own wicked ways He will heal our lands. Not only will He heal and restore but He will make new our hearts of stone and give us hearts of flesh. The focal point is Yahushua the son of The Father who longs for all to be a part of his bride. We should not tolerate Jezebel in our midst.

We were created for the most beautiful love affair with the most incredible King. We have the power to destroy the works of darkness in His name. We should owe no one anything but love. Love covers a multitude of sin and is kind and patient, not self seeking and destructive. Love does not curse. I have learnt that there is a lot of power in our tongues and if we learn to bridle them we will stop a lot of destruction. To build eachother up in the Faith is of much greater value than seeking to preserve our self image. To break down everyone around you is only a sign of your own insecurity and fear which is what Jezebel feeds on. Recognise who you are in Christ and your burden will become light.

Rev 2:18 This is what you must write to the angel of the church in Thyatira: I am the Son of God! My eyes are like flames of fire, and my feet are like bronze. Listen to what I say.
Rev 2:19 I know everything about you, including your love, your faith, your service, and how you have endured. I know that you are doing more now than you have ever done before.
Rev 2:20 But I still have something against you because of that woman Jezebel. She calls herself a prophet, and you let her teach and mislead my servants to do immoral things and to eat food offered to idols.
Rev 2:21 I gave her a chance to turn from her sins, but she did not want to stop doing these immoral things.
Rev 2:22 I am going to strike down Jezebel. Everyone who does these immoral things with her will also be punished, if they don't stop.
Rev 2:23 I will even kill her followers. Then all the churches will see that I know everyone's thoughts and feelings. I will treat each of you as you deserve.
