CRITIQUE TIPS

HELP TOUR

It's easy to critique the works of others and get your work critiqued. Just follow the steps below:

1) Post your first piece.

2) You must then critique the work of another member to post another piece yourself.

3) For each critique you give, you earn 1 credit that can be used to post another one of your writings.

4) You can build up credits to be used at another time by giving critiques to others.

Gossip mills abound in magazines and papers
In chat rooms, talk shows, emails and chain letters
Tidbits of gossip spread like fires to others
From one gossip to another; it hurts friends and others

Where there are itchy ears, there is a gossip mill
Idle talks, and rumors, or hearsay churn and fill
Chattering, or tattling, disclosing or prating
Making life unexciting and exhausting

From a little bird; or the grapevine
Surely it is not Divine Design
So be weary of the deep ravine
Focus on Christ and avoid the twine

A gossip mill not nipped in bud loves to linger
It boomerangs on the culprit of the monger
Why not fill our mind with noble thoughtsą
And season our speech with gracious words˛

Take captive every thoughtł and focus on worship
Curb loose lips⁴ or they might damage relationships
Set a guard at our mouths⁵ lest they sour fellowships
Sowing discords and shattering relationships

Every word will be judged when spoken carelessly6
Crystal clear warning by the Savior solemnly
It’s better to repent and rid it everyday
Rather than regret it forever and a day
