BECOME STRONG 2
Levels Of Power:

At this juncture, let us examine the three levels of power or authority available.

LEVEL ONE
This is a level of powerlessness. Here, you live in fear, enslavement and captivity.

A powerless person lives a miserable life.

A powerless fellow has no weapon to fight any battle. In the day of battle, the enemy overcomes and spoils him/her easily.

Read this about the house of Israel in I Samuel 13:19-22,
"Now there was no blacksmith to be found throughout all the land of Israel, for the Philistines said, 'Lest the Hebrews make swords or spears.'
But all the Israelites would go down to the Philistines to sharpen each man's plowshares, his mattock, his axe, and his sickle;
Yet they had a file for the mattock, and for the coulters, and for the forks, and for the axes, and to sharpen the goads.
So it came to pass in the day of battle, that there was neither sword nor spear found in the hand of any of the people that were with Saul and Jonathan: but with Saul and with Jonathan his son was there found." (King James Version)

Do you want to appreciat the value of having weapons?

In I Samuel 14, we see what Jonathan who had weapon did. He went boldly with his armor bearer to the camp of the enemy. Both were able to fight and win for God's people successfully.

Although "we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds" 2 Corinthians 10:3-4.

Therefore, you cannot afford to be powerless. It begins from the spirit realm and ends in the physical.

The second type of powerlessness is: loss of power. May you not have this experience. Those that fall under this category have got and used power but have lost same.

This kind of persons will suffer like those that never have power, except if "regrets" will be added to thiers.

When Samson had the power of God, he had no problem. No one could torment him. However, when he lost God's power, the enemies started to torment and punish him.

Judges 16:17, 19 reveals that Samson exposed the secret of his strength, lost it and severely paid the penalty.

"No razor has ever come upon my head, for I have been a Nazarite to God from my mother's womb.
If I am shaven, then my strength will leave me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man.
Then she (Delilah) lulled him to sleep on her knees, and called for a man and had him shave off the seven locks of his head. Then she began to torment him, and his strength left him."

The common experience of the weak and powerless is so bad that you must not pass through it. As a result of this, Become Strong.

LEVEL TWO.
Everything has a begining. If you realise that you are powerless, you must take steps in the Lord to begin having it.

Whatever begins, if it is good, must continue, so it is with power. You must grow in power until you have dominion. At this level, you begin and grow in power.

Let us consider the four parts that this level can be divided in the book of Ezekiel 47:3-5.
1. Ankle level.
2. Knee level
3. Waist level.
4. Uncrosable or River level.

River level of power is that kind you can swim in. It is immeasurable. No one can go beyond this. I even doubt if anyone, except Jesus Christ, has attained this level of authority.

The Lord wants you to work for Him according to your level of authority. To whom much is given, much is expected. To whom little is given, little is expected.

Your service or work for the Lord is measured by your level of authority.

Reading Acts 1:8, you will discover that the service is also divided into four. That is being His witness in
1. Jerusalem
2. Judea
3. Samaria
4. Uttermost part of the earth.

The day you begin to have power marks the start of your freedom from every den of your enemies.

Read this about the children of Israel in Joshua 17:13,
"And it happened, when the children of Israel grew strong, that they put the Canaanites to forced labor, but did not utterly drive them out."

A testimony about king David's authority is recorded in 2 Samuel 3:1 thus,
"Now there was a long war between the house of Saul and the house of David. But David grew stronger and stronger, and the house of Saul grew weaker and weaker."
Therefore, begin to become strong until you become very powerful.

LEVEL THREE
This is a level where perfect power has come. It is a level where one becomes a fear or terror to one's foes. Hear the words of Joshua's counsel to the two houses of Joseph, Ephraim and Manasseh in Joshua 17:17-18.
"You are a great people and have great power; you shall not have only one lot, but the mountain country shall be yours. Although it is wooded, you shall cut it down, and its farthest extent shall be yours: for you shall drive out the Canaanites, though they have iron chariots and are strong."

Your enemies are strong. You must have great power to drive out the strong!
