This is a song, that again i wrote on the way to work! My son was diagonsed with Autism when he was 15 months old and he has come SO far that i know that it was by the Lords healing hands that he has come so far. This was written mainly for praise and i probably won't ever sing it but i wanted to share it :)
I remember the day- my youngest son was born
I held him in my arms
I held his sweet hand and looked in his little eyes
I said I’d keep him safe from harm

Before I knew it- he was one year old
But he couldn’t speak a word
I cried every night and prayed to the Lord
And my prayers have been heard.

Chorus: He healed my son, he healed my son, for all the world to see
He healed my son, he healed my son, Praise God, he did that for me

Still my baby boy has trouble to understand- but he knows his father above
And I know God’s got big plans for this little child to fill this world
With God’s love

The Lord give me my child to raise and to love
For just a little while, and when he’s ready he’ll do work
For the Lord, cause he is God’s child.

People say healings don’t happen, no not today
That’s for times in the past
But I tell you -my son could not speak
And now he’s healed at last.

Repeat Chorus

Raise your hands, and praise his name, he can heal you too
Raise your hands, and praise his name and see what the Lord will do
