CRITIQUE TIPS

HELP TOUR

It's easy to critique the works of others and get your work critiqued. Just follow the steps below:

1) Post your first piece.

2) You must then critique the work of another member to post another piece yourself.

3) For each critique you give, you earn 1 credit that can be used to post another one of your writings.

4) You can build up credits to be used at another time by giving critiques to others.

ARTICLES ON WRITING

TITLE: Emerge From The Fog

This is actually my real-life experience.
I have had writer's block for two years.
Finally, it has ended!
Pen and paper stand in readiness
Poised to produce
Desiring to be used
To fulfill their purpose of existence

And yet they wait
The user of the tools
Sits in a fog
Mindless at best
Waiting for the words to flow
But they are stuck
In concrete as it were
Motionless - cold
Nearly dead

How can tools of creation
Melt the mind
Free the words
Pen and paper cry out for attention
Being useless is such a heavy weight
Pulling them down to despair

From deep within
Ideas emerge from the fog
Words begin to pile
The pen dances as words appear on paper
Usefulness regained
Words, pen, and paper rejoice
The Waltz has begun
Creation happens
Destiny restored!
