If Truth Be Told

If truth be told I'm nothing but that never mattered much to him

If truth be told I'm selfish and full of endless sin

But again I say about my loving Lord that never mattered much to him

If truth be told I complain alot when God gives me what I ask for

If truth be told I balk a bit when God says give me something more

To put aside all my ugly pride and take what he has in store

If truth be told I'm running scared to afraid to be what I could be

If Truth be told I'm terrified to have the world hate me

Shamed I am of my cowardness, Oh Lord don't let it be

If truth be told I'm not so good at forgiveness Lord

If truth be told bitterness is a raging river that's always wanting more

Tearing and Wearing away my tenderness into an open sore

If Truth be told I have a choice to make, Will I live my life for him

If Truth be told the next step I take determines if I live

Because all this stress has destroyed my health and sucked up all I have to give

If Truth be told I need you Lord more than I admit

If Truth be told your the only thing that stands between me and an endless pit

Your undying love holds me back, washed in mercy's waves, till I finally submit

If truth be told here I stand bathed in heaven's light

If truth be told perfect Love is a never ending fight

But still my Lord carries me and holds me with all his might

If truth be told to the world I am nothing but that never mattered much to him

If truth be told I'll never be perfect or really free from sin

But again I say about my Loving Lord that never mattered much to him

If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW

This is precious and so full of truth. I love it. God bless. P.S. I'm glad I was the first one to get to read it - it's almost like You Know "Who" speaking directly to my own heart through the message.
