Your home is in a bottle for all to see
You boast of relief and relaxation
You set people free
And when you are partaken
You’re free at last
Out come your spirits
Poured Into a glass
Then your drank down
Slow or quick
You make some mellow
You make some sick
With every glass your spirits
Do their works
You make some people happy
You make some people jerks
Your very well know
You’ve been for a long time
Even JESUS turned the water
Into wine
And your spirits have names
That all know when they hear
Like wine to gin or brandy
Whiskey rum or beer
When you taken in excess
You are no-longer fun
With fights and lowered morals
Even death for some
Some can’t live without you
And some wish they could
You confuse and blur lives
Are you really good?
Or are you a mirror
Of who we really are?
Like some altered being
From a dark and distant star
So when you use these spirits
Be as careful as a Monk
If you’re going to be a drinker
Please don’t be a drunk
