You shadow me, Oh HOLY GHOST, without YOU, my soul would be toast, YOU’VE been there, all through my life, through my triumphs, and through my strife’s.
YOU pick me up when I fall down, and give me courage, YOUR always around, YOU have shown me GOD’S HOLY ways, all of my nights, and all of my days…
I know I don’t always recognize, through my clouded, human eyes.
YOU, when YOU are there, or when I get too full of myself, tied up in my own snare…
And sometimes I forget to say Thank YOU, for all of the wonderful things YOU do, so I wrote you this little poem, just to let YOU know, my wonderful shadow has a Loving home…
