Lord, I am just a servant.
Nothing grand or fine.
'My' words are not so clever,
all they do is rhyme.
I wear my heart upon my sleeve,
for all the world to see.
Because I want them to see You,
Living inside me.
I am just a misplaced child,
stumbling back Home.
Yet You Love Me, as I am,
calling me Your Own.
I need You Father,
Cover over me.
Just a servant,
Just a child.
Help me 'Shine' for Thee.

Hi Elizabeth, Thank you for sharing this simplistic, yet, deep poem! Yes, we are all servants/ channels which are used by God in His infinite wisdom. Continue to let your light shine. Warm Regards Veronica
