This poet's eyes see beauty, Lord
In all that you have made
And tears of joy so quickly come
When wonders are displayed.
This poet's hand have welcomed life
And learned to say good bye
And joined in prayer, this poet's hands
Transcend both earth and sky.
This poet's heart yet leaps within
Each time it hears your name
And having heard, cannot be stilled
Nor ever beat the same.
This poet's thoughts, and words, and dreams
Reflect your love so free
And ah, this poet's soul, Dear Lord
Belongs alone to Thee.
