Dear friend,
Effectual prayer is such an expensive venture; we can't afford to engage in it in futility! Jesus left all to focus on it for 40 days and nights with fasting! Prayer and fasting enhances focus, desperation and intensity, a definite recipe for that long awaited miracle. Focused desperate people seeking God are very dangerous. They don't understand impossibilities! When your mountains seem insurmountable, intensify your demand by including fasting. Lk.5:17-26; Lk.16:16; Phil.4:6, 7; Jer.29:11-14.
Most times, in order to see the miraculous, we have to do the ridiculous in righteousness! Faith is risk, great faith is high risk. And great faith, being the pathway to greatness, pleases God greatly! Miracles do not show up where they're needed but where they're sought for and expected! Make that move now and don't be afraid. James 2:21-26; Isaiah 41:11-20; 2Chro.27:6.
Perhaps you have a challenge or situation in your marriage, health, economy, relationships etc, you would want to put an end to once and for all. And you'd like a friend to stand in agreement with you in prayer and fasting according to Matt.18:19; Jer.29:13. Get a partner and start praying together, it’s powerful I assure you.
