No beauty—Life has no beauty
To hearts harden, flatlined by sin
But still we long to taste and see,
Beauty, so to and fro we run,
Panting, lusting for this or that
Moment by moment True Beauty
Entreats us, rest, taste and see
With wounded arms of love, outstretched
Waiting to embrace you and me
And quicken our hearts so we turn
From the pleasure mirage called sin
To embrace true beauty of Christ's
Luminescent glory within
And the gift of life forever,
Even now from and with Him
