GOD did shed His blessings on thee
Allowing men to establish a nation free
Despite the problems they did face
God was there as He shed His grace.
America built on Godly precepts
Many died to confirm this concept
A nation established in God we trust
Knowing to survive this was a must.
It seems in these tough times today
Many of us have lost our way.
Denying the basis of our foundation
Leaving the love of the first intention.
Please, Father, our hearts regenerate
It's never too late to change our ways.
We must hold on to the constitution
Dear Lord, this battle we must win.
Restore in us your spirit of hope
Renew in us a strong will to cope
Be with us Lord in all we do
True freedom is found only in you.
