Setting aside a day called 'Memorial'
To remember those who served.
Men and women in military uniform
Let us sing their praises in unison.
May we as a nation always remember
The brave and courageous volunteers.
Sacrificing and serving their country
Preserving our way of life in liberty.
So this day give a tribute eulogy,
For many dedicated patriots of yore.
Those who carried the colors proudly
Many sacrificing their lives for these.
The price of freedom is horrendous.
Yet, many have dedicated their lives
To ensure that our nation prospers
In the freedoms that we treasure.
This day we sing their praises,
Also thanking the families of these.
Saying a prayer in reverent appreciation
Thanking God for the valiant esteemed.
So on this day of remembrance
Pray for safety of those still serving.
Honor them for their dedication
On this mission in loyal devotion.
