As we celebrate this "Memorial day"
May we with appreciation homage pay
To the brave men and women of service
In the United States Armed Forces.
As we recognize their love of country
And their dedication to preserve liberty
Thank them for their selfless dedication
Be sensitive to their families emotions.
Let us always look back and praise
The men and women who are so brave
Gave all to establish and preserve liberty
That people of the USA can live freely.
Never a nation in all of recorded history
Has been so powerful and wealthy
And yet used it's wealth and influence
To help other nations gain independence.
"Memorial Day" isn't one day specified,
So don't just let one day be set aside
To respect and honor the courageous
Uniformed citizens of the United States.
