Any moment now
In a twinkling
Before you can blink
We’ll be gone.
You will search in vain to find us
But you will not perceive since you do not “believe”
That we’ll be going “home”.
Home, where our hearts have always been
Home, where our faith was born triumphant.
What we always believed will be waiting
Those we knew before will be waiting there, too.
For all will come to fruition
At the ingathering of the Lamb.
Any moment now
In a twinkling
Before you can blink
We’ll be gone.
We will not miss this place called “earth”
We will not miss these dark refrains
In essence captured poet’s pain
For we are covered by the blood
The precious crimson blood stain.
“For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the Arc angel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord, Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” I Thes. 4: 16-18
Any moment now
In a twinkling
Before you can blink
We’ll be gone.
Even so, come Lord Jesus.
