My name is Patty and I’ve only been here a little over a month, but I continually find new resources at Faithwriters that absolutely blow my mind!
Today, I discovered Glenn’s weekly writing classes and I am again amazed and grateful to God and the people at Faithwriters for another freebie included with my 500 membership. There is great wisdom and experience here!
I started reading Jan’s Master Classes about four weeks ago and they are so similar to a classroom that I feel like I’ve been granted free tuition!
I’m just an old lady who never had a chance for a college education; if you have a degree in literature and/or creative writing, this might seem trivial to you.
To me, however, these extras and so many others I’m finding are totally alien to someone who’s used to the typical come-ons that give you a mere pittance and then slap you with the REAL bill.
Now I don’t know much about writing except that The Lord seems to have given me a little talent and a great passion to write for His Glory. He steered me here through a wrong mouse “click.”
On my low income, the Faithwriters 500 (at only $10.00 a month) was even stretching it. But I can honestly say I’ve already harvested much more than what I’ve sown.
As for the web stuff, I’m still waaaay out in left field, but these guys answer my questions with a generosity and patience that I’ve never known. I learned how to do a "smiley," Avatar, and Signature.
I urge you to join the 500 and help keep this site going. I already know I would be lost without it (sort of like my first microwave). And I've just started learning all the buttons and special features.
One last thing: Nobody asked me to write this. I’m just doing this because my heart is so filled with joy and gratitude. In fact, I don’t even know if I’m allowed to submit this and whether it will fit on the board.

You have shared what many of us newbies feel about FW. I too happened upon FW by a click of the mouse. Though mine was by Divine appointment as I believe, was yours.
We are blessed to be a part of such a warm and caring group of writer friends.
I agree with the benefits of being a 500 member.
