When My people fainted with hunger in the Wilderness I gave heed to their cry and provided miracle food to satisfy their hunger. I gave them Bread from Heaven to eat, a picture of the Lord Jesus Christ satisfying the hunger of My New Testament saints. I poured forth water out of the Rock for them to quench their thirst, a picture of how I would provide Living Waters of the Spirit through the Lord Jesus Christ in the ages to come. The Children of Israel plowed not in the Wilderness, neither sowed nor reaped. Yet I faithfully fed this stubborn, obstinate people their daily manna to sustain their lives.
Yet they grumbled against Me. It wasn’t enough for the Israelites that they ate the bread of angels and drank pure water daily. It wasn’t enough that they were enjoying a restful season in the wilderness when their bread came directly from Me, rather than from their own backbreaking labor. They didn’t even have to fret over their clothes wearing out, or wonder how they could get the material to make new clothes and shoes. I even preserved their clothes from wearing out! When you come to Christ I destroy your old garment of sin and condemnation and clothe you in the pure Righteousness of My Holy Son.
What should have been a short sojourn in the Wilderness and imminent entry into the Land of Canaan turned into a forty-year wandering in that wilderness. The Israelites were unable to enter into the Promised Land due to stubborn doubt and unbelief. Sure, I had provided food from heaven for them, but was I able to even give them FLESH to satisfy their lust for tasty food?
Instead of resisting the temptation to lust after strange flesh, the Israelites sank into deep sin after Moses went up the Mount to receive the Ten Commandments. They constantly murmured and whined about everything under the sun. I finally sent quails so they could eat flesh to the fill. The quails came not from heaven, but from earth. Many Israelites overindulged in this flesh food and became sick, incurring My wrath because of their complaining attitude and unbelief.
I would break the Bread of My Word to My children to satisfy the deepest hunger of their souls. For many centuries I have done this, in uncompromising congregations of the saints. I have presented to them the unadorned, simple truths of godly living in Christ Jesus, and His power to sanctify the soul. I have taught My people about their high position in Him as members of his Body on earth. I have gently led My flock and shielded them from the wicked one. I have warned My people away from dangers which could lead to the perdition of apostate souls. I have poured out the Oil of Joy upon My people and clothed them with the Garment of My Salvation.
Yet My people seem to want something more. They STILL prefer flesh food to food from heaven. Every pretty new preacher face that comes along beguiles them away from the old rugged cross and the foundational truths of the gospel. Greed is good in their eyes. Wealth equates with righteousness, even though I have specifically warned My people against covetousness and the idolatry of lusting after THINGS instead of fully following Me.
Those prima donnas in the pulpits sing their swan song of “a new revelation” to beguile My people out of their money and to ensnare their souls in spiritual slavery. Instead of the Water of Life and Wine of the Spirit they lust after watered-down, people-pleasing religious rhetoric which tickles the ears. They intoxicate their deceived souls on the latest “faith formula”. Like the children of Israel in the Wilderness they dance around some strange new Golden Calf, an idol wearing a Rolex and a two-thousand-dollar suit. Instead of praying My people party nonstop around perversions which pass for My Word.
No, I DON’T bless it when some poor grandma gambles away her food money to some greedy preacher, hoping for a ten-fold return. How does this differ from gambling in some casino? Can’t you see the difference between her faded dress and his shiny suit? She rides the bus while he drives a new Cadillac. She eats peanut butter (or cat food, perhaps) while HE dines richly at each and every meal. And yet he justifies his theft of her life savings by claiming to be “in the ministry”.
This type of preacher is operating not in My Spirit but in the flesh. He ENTERTAINS My flock with foolish fables instead of building up their faith through the sound impartation of My word. This clown shouts and dances and cracks jokes, to the delight of thousands of spectators who gladly pour more and more money into his greedy pockets. The bewitched congregation just eat it up! He makes them feel so happy they don’t even mind being asked to tithe their money to him for the rest of their lives, because satan has convinced desperate, deluded people he’s worth every penny. In many cases they’re just as guilty as HE is, because they’re quite bored with sound doctrine and don’t even CARE if their “shepherd’s” message, techniques and “ministry” differ from what is taught in My Word.
Such Christians have fallen beneath a perverse spell! How I loathe it when preachers, either men or women, resort to emotional appeals to pry people’s purses and wallets open. How I despise the sickly sweet, simpering voice which appeals to the love of Jesus as old people are beguiled into parting with their grocery money! Any Jezebel witch who resorts to such phony religious tactics will surely incur My severest punishment as an apostate, liar and thief, no matter how sweet and angelic that deceiver appears to be!
WITCHCRAFT is a deliberate attempt to spiritually manipulate people into behaving the way you want them to. Any preacher, male or female, who puts on the “sweet angel” act to overpower the discernment of the Holy Spirit in the believer, so as to control that person, is the worst sort of witch in My sight. Witchcraft is one of the works of the flesh.
My people, if you prefer flesh food to the pure manna from heaven, don’t be surprised if it makes you sick and you fail to grow on it.
If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW
