I look out at the fresh-washed earth,
God has sent His refreshing rain;
and I know that I start my day,
with new mercies to begin again...
I remember once my days were dark;
hope and joy were just not there;
but oh, when Jesus rescued me,
I was so amazed at His loving care!
He took my heart and made it new,
He showed me what path to take;
and when I was ready, He gave me you,
sheer happiness was mine to partake...
God saw in my heart my dearest wish,
to have a love deep and true;
and one spring day almost six years ago;
my wish was fulfilled in you!!
Each day starts already full of love,
I look forward to what the hours will bring;
and every minute throughout the day,
a song of love my heart sings...
Each morning I think it just can't get better,
yet the promise of joy is brand new;
and by the end of the day I know,
it was the best day because of you!!
So I thank God for all He's done,
for the wonder that's become my life;
and most of all, I rejoice in the role,
the happiness of being your wife!!
I will never be able to say,
to put in to words all that is true;
but every day I want you to know
how very much I LOVE YOU!!
