What a beautiful day to praise the Lord! Have you experienced a time in your life when you feel so much loved that all you can say in your prayer is “Thank You God for loving me?”
When you wake up this morning, did you welcome the day with anticipation of God’s many surprises of blessings and miracles that He’s ready to bestow upon you? Did you thank God for your heart beating in regular rhythm able to feel the beauty of life, your eyes able to see the bright sunshine and blue sky outside, your hands able to do the work that He has given you , your feet able to walk to places you want to go, ears that hear the singing of the birds and words that encourage you, and mouth that say “Thank You Lord” for Your presence and gift of love?
This morning signals a new day for me. It may look like any ordinary day, but in my heart, God has put a new spirit , overwhelmed with His love that all I can say in my prayer is, “Thank You Lord for loving me.”
As I focus in His goodness, it’s very easy to say grace before my meal, to sing praises in His Name, to appreciate even the roof over my head, fresh supply of water, and the blessings of family and friends.
God gives assurance in my heart that I can even rejoice in trials that come my way. He says, “Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed.” - Isaiah 54:10
Be still and hear what the Spirit is saying in your heart. No matter what circumstances you’re in right now, God loves you with an everlasting love.
“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.” –Psalm 91:14
“May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.” - 2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17
God’s gift of love is free for all. Today is a new day to experience His abounding, unselfish love . Are you ready to receive it?
