Without trying to offend anyone, the Pope, evangelicals, or any others do not speak for Christianity. That's the Bible's job. With that being said, my response will be more theological/philosophical than exegetical. Jesus came to save the lost. While he did other things, the central message of each of his sermons was repentance. He reminded us to give to God and pay taxes. With the economy and the money issues facing the word, his message of repentance still resonates. I'd like to see more focus on Christ and him crucified, getting that message to others, than waiting for leaven to rise. God bless.
