As I kneel before you now
Thankful heart, tear filled eyes
I can't do justice, I don't know how
to begin to verbalize
the deep commitment in my heart
the confidence inside
the peace to me that you impart
all other paths denied...
You hold my children in your hands.
They know you as their Saviour.
You shield us from the harsh demands
Of other's ungodly plans and behavior.
You lift us up above the veil
circumstance would use to cloak
the victory in you that we know so well
will quash that which would provoke.
Jesus loves me, this I know,
my children know this too.
As we kneel please help us grow-
through our eyes closed in prayer
help us see you!
