Poetry
I have made myself ready
With anticipation for this day
I have been washed, I am without blemish
Prepared to be arrayed
Garnished with a diadem and veil
My hair has been dressed
The pearls of my ancestors are set
Flawlessly, in my ears and upon my neck
My gown is the perfection of beauty
White and silk
A train gloriously follows
Like a waterfall of honey and milk
As I make my entry, all arise
Just to get a glimpse of me
For I have been clothed with glory
A glory that every eye can see
They gaze upon my splendor
But my eyes are fixed upon him
The bridegroom, he shall remove this veil
And I shall see him as he is
Overwhelmed, I come before him
The veil is taken away
I can see clearly, bubbling over with joy
I persevered to see this day
We vow our vows
Unified, we become one
I am his and he is mine
My new life in Christ, for eternity has begun
