I was in the bottom of the pit
Buried beneath a load of sin and shame
My life was so miserable
Dark and gloomy all around
I cried, Help!
But didn’t know what to do
To live ar die?
It didn’t matter much to me
Then I met the Savior
He bid me “ come and dine “
He gave me the “ Living Water “
Now He’s with me all the time
Now my Savior
He didn’t just save me
He keeps me every day
For I belong to Him
The price He did pay
So, if you’re on the bottom
I tell you what to do
Call on the Savior
He’s been waiting for you
He’ll give you this “ Living Water “
You’ll never thirst again
He’ll bring you up from the bottom
And make you whole in Him.
