If laughter feels so good
Why are we afraid to do it
Why the stifled, hidden grin
When the face cries out “Go to it”.
Why the need to stay so proper,
When “proper” just won't do
Why not let the feelings out
See the change it makes in you.
For laughter's only sunshine
That comes from deep inside
And shared with someone else
It's a hundred smiles wide.
So when the joke's on you
Or you've fallen on your face
Let laughter tell the world
Your humor's still in place.
