“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline” ( Proverbs 1:7).
Have you noticed that the most successful people we know are the ones who listen to wise counsel of their parents, teachers, mentors, ministers, and other people of wisdom? They may not be successful in the eyes of men in terms of wealth or status but they are wise in the eyes of God.
On the other hand, the so called “fools” are too proud to listen and obey the godly instructions of the wise and experienced, trusting only themselves. They mock godly people, and they are not happy when others are doing well. They are not satisfied with their lot in life.
It will be wise for us to base every decision in life, and seek guidance in all aspects of our being from the Bible. It’s God’s love letter to us, our Manual For Living.
The Scripture is filled with distinction between the wise and the fools. Only fools will reject what it says for within this treasured Book of books lies all the secret for living an abundant life.
My prayer is that “may your love abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and maybe pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Christ Jesus-to the glory and praise of God” ( Philippians 1:9-11).
April Fools’ Day, anyone?

Much truth here, Sis. He is the Source of all wisdom and knowledge. I am a poor ruler on the throne of my own life, but when I yield it to Him, that all changes. I can't truly know Him unless He reveals Himself to me through His Holy Spirit. Thanks for all the truth and thoughts here. Blessings

If we would all remember to seek God's wisdom in His "manual", our lives would be testimonies to Him and we would be blessed by having His Hand upon our lives.
