I call out to You, Lord
In my fear and my distress
I reach out for You, Lord
In my pain and loneliness
Then I hear Your voice
Rising above every noise
It’s the sound
Of many rushing waters
It’s the sound
Like echoing thunder
I fall down
So full of wonder
I am here at Your feet
Amazed that You would answer me
I come before You, Lord
Lifting a heart that’s full of praise
I will adore You, Lord
As You teach me to follow Your ways
So let me hear Your voice
Rising above every noise
It’s the sound
Of many rushing waters
It’s the sound
Like echoing thunder
I fall down
So full of wonder
I am here at Your feet
Amazed that You would answer me
Right now I hear You in my heart, oh God
Though it’s not always too clear
Someday I’ll be there where You are, oh Jesus
And I wonder what I’ll hear
It’s the sound
Of many rushing waters
It’s the sound
Like echoing thunder
I fall down
So full of wonder
I am here at Your feet
Amazed that You would answer me

Revelation 1:13-16 – “… I saw one like a son of man, clothed in a robe reaching to the feet, and girded across His chest with a golden sash… and His eyes were like a flame of fire. His feet were like burnished bronze, when it has been made to glow in a furnace, and His voice was like the sound of many waters. In His right hand He held seven stars, and out of His mouth came a sharp two-edged sword; and His face was like the sun shining in its strength.”
