Gal 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us--for it is written, "CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS ON A TREE"ó(NSAB)
Ransom redeemed us--bought us off from our former bondage. The ransom price He paid was His own precious blood.
1. to redeem a. by payment of a price to recover from the power of another, to ransom, buy off
2. to buy up, to buy up for one's self, for one's use
Gal 4:5 so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons
1 Peter 1:18 knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or goldÖ
1:19 but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.
We were bought, ransomed, redeemed, paid for, with the blood of Jesus. We were in darkness, being enslaved to the enemy, Satan, and Jesus came to earth, became a man, and rescued us from that bad demon. It would be like if someone kidnapped your child, and you had to rescue him, and the only way, was to pay whatever ransom the abductors wanted. In this case the only ransom that would work was the blood of a perfect man. So, the Father sent His only begotten Son, to become that perfect man on the earth, and to shed His blood to pay the ransom for His kids, who had been enslaved by Satan, and forced to live in his darkness. Once the ransom had been paid, you could be rescued and come out from your oppressor, just by accepting the blood ransom that was paid for you. Now, you have every right to walk away from the darkness and be transformed, transported into the glorious Light of the Son of God, Jesus.
So, why are Christians still living as though they are still enslaved to the darkness? They accepted His sacrifice of the blood, and were saved from the darkness, so why are they still accepting torment from that same darkness? Because we have not known our rights, and been truly made aware that we have been redeemed from ALL darkness, and every misery it entails. In the first place, we were born into the darkness, born into slavery to darkness, and thatís all we ever knew. Then our Knight in shining armor comes along and rescues us. We have no idea what it is like to walk in freedom, as we have been slaves, some of us all our lives. You canít walk in freedom if you donít know what freedom means. Now, yes some were born into Christian homes where they were taught freedom from birth, and never knew about being a slave to the darkness. I am referring to those not brought up that way, who still need to learn what their rights are.
It is being a slave to darkness to still walk in sickness, disease, pain, sin, depression, oppression, and all sorts of fears. You wouldnít believe how many fears there are. Walking in the opposite of the fruit of the spirit is walking enslaved to darkness. Poverty is being a slave to darkness. That is all under the curse of the law. In Deut 28, it outlines what the curse is, and what the blessing is. Read it sometimes. You will be highly surprised what you find. You donít have to be sick. You donít have to live with depression hovering in your life. You donít have to live with anger rising up in you every time someone does something you donít like, or says something you donít like. You have the ability to forgive them, when the Word of God is residing on the inside of your spirit. Jesus has set you FREE!! You donít have to live with all of this bad stuff in your life anymore.
Revelation knowledge is SO strong in the earth today. Technology is very high, have you noticed? Everything is speeding us. Itís not man and his great knowledge causing this. Man isnít evolving, man is devolving. Man and this world system is getting worse, not better, every day. Look at the violence in the world; there is more violence, and dishonor, and diseases now, then there have ever been before. So, its certainly not man evolving. God is speeding everything us. Things are about to come to a head. Jesus is about to come get His people. But, the Father is not going to give a weak, living in sin, darkness, and defeated people to His Son. He has to clean us up first, get us out of the darkness, teach us to live in total victory, before He can take us up in the Rapture. Jesus is coming back for a spotless, clean church, the scriptures say. We are certainly not there yet. But, we are getting there. There is more Word going out, more understanding of the Word, than I have ever seen in my thirty years of being filled with the Spirit of God. It is amazing what is happening everywhere, and on the Internet.
