Psalm 1262
I know I make mistakes, Father,
but I also know, You have a plan for my life.
You play a part and have a plan in each of my mistakes.
You can take my bad circumstances and bring something good out of them.
Right now I’m feeling such failure but I believe
You see potential.
I’m trying to have patience, Father,
but the enemy is unrelenting.
I’m trying so hard to hang onto what little peace I hold in my heart.
It is the hope I hold in You in times like these where I am refreshed.
Though the enemy tries to make me doubt myself,
I meditate and focus on Your truth.
For in Your hands all things which are roadblocks to me
are nothing to You.
I have one question for You, Father,
Do they cry for the sin they commit?
Do they cry for not doing the good they know they should do and not do it?
By not offering one minute to say a supportive word.
Send me the roadblocks, Father,
because I know every defeat I face is a victorious moment with You.
May we move forward in confidence and trust knowing
that You are using us today.
Though I am filled with inadequacies, may You fill in all that I lack.
I ask this in Jesus’ name,
Amen.
Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty,
Who was, and is, and is to come.
