God Loves Her More Than I Do...

My little girl is crippled, she is blind

She is broken by the world, and she keeps

it all inside.

But I know, I see--I am the one who gave her birth.

I hurt, I grieve when her sad eyes look at me,

Hurt disguised by merriment—she doesn’t fool me, ever

I see right through her thin facade – she’ll never be that clever.

The countenance that glowed...before, with innocence and grace

Adorns a face of secrets now that makes my own heart race

With fear...Barely held in check by faith that all is well

For God loves her, too. I don't know how this can be so

But He loves her more than I do--and He'll never let her go!

How comforting to know that our children are held in the palm of God's hand. It's hard to accept that a child is given as a gift .. on loan .. from our Creator .. and each and every one of us belongs to our Father in Heaven. No, He will never let her go .. and how blessed is she for that. May God Bless you, your daughter and family.
