I find it most difficult to describe how Good a God I serve.
The scripture ‘the lines have fallen for me in pleasant places’ is just to the point. He is a good God,doing good always.
The race of life for me has been rough and challenging. I do not feign to be the only one with challenges. I only need to ask for personal details and I’ll be overwhelmed with responses. I do know, though that our challenges come customized, making it imperative for each of us to bear our own burdens and carry our crosses. The amazing thing is that each cross comes with the divine ability to be carried. It will be heavy but never impossilble to truly bear.
I have found in my few years of walking with God that the best thing we can do is to do only what we can. The lord doesn’t expect us to do more than we can, especially when it comes to the things only he can bring to pass.why do we often get frustrated with life. We sigh and hiss, stamp our feet and bite our fingers.’when will it happen?, for how long do I have to wait?how will it work out?
Questions we only need to take to God and leave it there. God’s grace is energized in the face of absolute trust and dependence on him. Granted the human tendency to place our desires, wants and needs within a particular timeframe can be all consuming. We want to know the when, the how, the what, the who and so on.
There is a divine answer to every human question, and this about sums it up, ‘Trust in the lord with all your heart”. We will only find rest when we stay in the peace of God. Refuse to give in to fear and anxiety. The grace of God can only operate where peace is evident. Like my pastor will say, “step aside and let God take over”. Don’t try to do his job. Worrying will help nothing, only make it worse.
Fear not, dear heart, your dreams will come to pass, the rent will be paid, your children will be provided for, your desire to be married will be granted. Do what you have to do , when you have to do it and after all that is done, hold your peace. He will come through for you.
