Immaculate light,
strikingly beautiful,
stretched out over
The Deep
as might a great thundercloud
cover the sun,
singing songs
penned for his Source.
The brightness
of that light
whispered
and still whispers
through eternal
space and time, "Behold
my unequalled beauty.
Hear the perfection
of my voice.
Tremble, all hosts,
at the gloriousness
of my being
and my power.
I have made myself
as great
as The One.
I have seated
myself
in high places."
The Deep rumbled
and split wide
to reveal
The Great Light
contained within
His immeasurable depths,
rendering the low light
powerless. "Oh Lucifer,
beautiful one,
how very far
you have fallen."
I abide under the shadow
of The Great Light’s wings,
yet no more by my own power
or will
than a hummingbird’s feather
caught in the wind.
Oh, but Deep
cries out to the deep, "Look again.
Behold, My splendor
is yours
to wear
upon your crown,
to shod your feet with,
to transpose into praise,
and to give freely
unto all that you touch.
Oh, Little One
of Mine,
how far have you been
lifted up!
When I Am lifted up,
I will draw
all men
to Myself."
Matthew 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
Ah, Joyce! How satisfying to read you again...This gorgeous, sensitive juxtaposition of Lucifer's fall and Messiah's lifting us up shines The Great Light into my core. Bless you, my friend!
Oh, how high we can soar when we trust our Father and let His strength lift us up! This is so beautifully written - delicate words with a powerful message! You add much beauty and inspiration to our lives and we're so glad to have you back. With love, Peggy
